Snow male to a female that is
100% het for Albino and possible het
for VPI Axanthic ( snow )...........this
female ( Mom ) came from breeding
an Albino male to a het VPI Axanthic
female. She produced a clutch of eggs
in 2003 from being bred to a DH VPI
Snow male........4 eggs.....2 Albinos
were produced and 2 PDH's.....( 03

female...........I'm hoping to produce
a "wicked cross" between
the two morphs......"BLACK

Spider and 3.2 sib hatched out on
8/14/05...........nothing in this
clutch resembles a "Black Head"
like the two in 05 clutch # 86..........there
is one "sib" that "stands
out" among the rest........it
has a very nice reduced pattern that
is jet black...........and a spot
on the head. Is it a "Black Widow"???............I
expected the "Black Head"
trait to "thicken up" the
Spider's "webbed pattern"
and have a black head ( a bulkier
patterned Spider )
I
guess this one "odd animal"
kinda sorta looks like what I envisioned..........but
I thought it would be like "
BAM!!.........that's a Black Widow"........so
for now I'm just gonna say "I
have no idea?"........:)
Maybe
as these two Spider x Black Head clutches
mature, I will start to "notice
something"........as of now............I
got two Spiders that look like normal
Spiders to me............I have two
Black Heads with white sides............and
I have the reduced pattern thingy
from this clutch..........?

I sounding like a "broken record"?..........I
HOPE SO!!!.............:)
I'm
totally floored from the results of
the three DH Lav x Pied clutches this
season.........three clutches............a
total of 11 eggs.........0.3 Lavender
Albino Pied, 1.0 Lavender Albino 66%
poss het Pied, 1.1 Piebald 66% poss
het Lavender Albino and 4.1 Possible
double hets............
2005.....the
year of the Dreamsicle at RDR!!!
The
little female LAP in this clutch is
more of a "standard piebald".........a
good balance of white patches and
patterned patches..........as you
can see.........I hatched out another
little BADASS "Ringer"..........the
Ringer in this clutch and 05 clutch
# 93 are easily the two best Ringers
I have ever seen or produced.........and
it's interesting that they are both
from a DH x DH breeding.....
The
more we breed DH's, triples and quads...........the
more we are going to start to see
some very odd "paradoxes".....the
orange color in both of the Ringers
is as orange as the LAP's..........way
cool!!!......and I'd bet that the
little Ringers are DH's ( no that
ain't a sales pitch )........:P

this season...........I figured in
11 eggs my chances were still slim........DH's
are an awesome "roll of the dice"..............some
seasons you'll nail it............and
some seasons you won't.............BOTH
have happened to me..........
