These
pics are of an adult female that was
imported early in the year of 2000......I
was sent pics of her while she was
in Africa gravid. The trapper who
found her did not want to let her
go before she laid her eggs....he
though she would produce albinos???.....well
she laid 12 eggs and no albinos....imagine
that...LOL!!! She was sent to me and
at arrival I could not believe that
she had laid eggs...she was still
very chunky........needless to say
the babies from her disappeared into
the thousands of baby balls that are
moved out of Africa to the pet trade
etc.
This
girl is gorgeous!!!......she is some
type of hypo??????.......she is too
clean and crisp looking to be a regular
ghost......she has a nice yellow/light
greenish color to her.......and her
markings are very clean an distinct.....I
know she can not technically be a
hypo because she has black in her...........but
her over all appearance says HYPO!!!!
There
are a few ball pythons in collections
right now that I believe are the same
thing as the Lemon/Lime hypo..........they
are being called Desert Ghosts. Hopefully
one year we will prove this beautiful
gene out!
