BURGUNDY

Two baby Burgundy ball pythons hatched by Vin RussoGenetic Morph: Burgundy, Burgundy Hypo
Status: Proven Simple Recessive
When:
2002
By Whom:
Vin Russo

I have picked up a few of these Burgandy Balls in the past few years and produced my first hets in 2000. The Burgandy ball is very unique and exhibits a tint of burgandy color to it. I bred one of my Burgandy female back to her 2000 het son in the Fall of 2002 and hatched out the very first Burgandys & Hets. The First ever Captive born & bred Burgandys are awsome. Some people beleived this trait tro be a form of hypomelanism. I beleive it to be a type of Axanthism as the first Captive born Burgandys look like an Axanthic with a tint of pink color. I think that by adding the albino trait to the burgandy trait you will get a pink snow ball from your double hets. This is a Brand New Morph!!
