BLONDE_PASTEL_JUNGLE

Blonde PastelGenetic Morph: Blonde Pastel Jungle
Status: Proven Co-Dominant
When:
2000
By Whom:
Mike from Matrix and Matt Turner

This is a much debated mutation...........the pic on this page is supposedly the "original" Blonde Pastel that was imported from Africa by Mike and Matt.........I was able to get 1.2 of these in 2001 from Matt Turner.........the babies did look different than the other Pastel Jungles that were being produced at the time..........so I figured it was "legit"..........I was more interested in a new bloodline at the time. I have produced very few "Blondes" and I don't believe many other breeders are working with them...........in 2003 I produced a cross between a Lesser Platty and a Pastel Jungle.............I also produced a cross between a Lesser Platty and a Blonde Pastel...........you could tell them apart like night and day.............so is the "Blonde" really different?.............I think if anything it is much "cleaner patterned" making the "Blonde Lesser" prettier and brighter............who knows?...........I know that the ball python pictured on this page looks like no other Pastel I have seen...........and "Blonde" is the perfect name for it.......I'm sure all the "brands" of Pastel are compatible and produce "Supers"..
