The Bengal Balls used to be called "Woma Balls"..............Upscale Reptiles had named these snakes and imported them in from Africa "I believe in 1999"............1999 was the first year I had seen any pics of these awesome ball pythons. NERD had produced the "Woma/Tiger" balls first............" his own brand" that are not the same things as Upscale's Bengals............so Upscale changed the name to Bengal so they would not be confused with NERD's Womas. I know that "het Bengals" have been sold and that Upscale has produced "hets"..........as of now I don't know of anyone "proving" this trait to be genetic?

There is a lot of history in "The Bengals".............more like "Gossip and back-stabbing"..........those in "the loop" know exactly what went down.............but for now I guess we will all have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that this trait is genetic..............if it is, it will have to be simple recessive because they have produced from the Bengals.............obviously the babies ( hets ) must have looked "normal" for them to be sold as "hets".

As of 2005 I do not know of anyone that has actually produced a "Bengal"............not Janie, VPI or the scum bags that ripped off some of the original animals when they were first discovered in Africa.
