The Arctic is a name that I came up with shortly after I imported this male pictured to the left. I named it this after the "arctic camo" pants. There are many others out there like this one.............some in fact "changed" into an Arctic after just one shed??............So what is this?...........was he just as cool as a baby?..............I would not know because he was an adult male when I imported him. And the stories of people looking into their snakes cage one day and the snake is normal...............and the next day it sheds and it's an Arctic Ball? Ball pythons are capable of some radical changes in color.............and I think these "Arctics/IMGs" are probably just that ..............I did produce hets from my male...............so hopefully with some luck this gene will reproduce............but I have my doubts.

As of 2005 this project has been put on the back burner............some "interesting" looking babies have been produced from breeding "Arctic Hets" together...........but nothing to write home about.
